People In The South In 1800s
Guiding Question: How will the life paths of people in the America South help us understand there life patters?
The life paths will help us understand the American`s South paths by reading a person named Nat Turner. He was born a slaved on October 2,1800. His master, Benjamin Turner, let him play and study with his children. Additionally, he read the bible, studied the Bible, and attended church regularly. Soon, in 1812, he ran way from his master and lived in the woods. After 30 days, he return claiming that a spirit had told him to go back to the plantation to complete his destiny. Years passed until the August 22 1831, Turner and six other slaves entered the Travis house and murdered everyone, Travis, his wife and three children.
I chose Nat Turner because he is one of the other slaves who went threw slavery. Plus, he courage six other slaves to fight back and kill them. Soon those 7 people went off and killed the rest of the whites. No matter what gender or age. When Turner and his men reached Jerusalem, almost 60African-American men joined them. Which lead to a war. Almost 55 whites got killed. Soon a manhunt was called for him. Turner, on the other hand, was hiding for 2 months and was capture on October 30. To conclude, Nat Turner is one of the many people who answered my question.

People In The West
Guiding Question: I wonder what political matters happen in the 1800s West?
An example that helps me understand the political matters in the West by a person named Sacajawea. She was born into the Lemhi band of Shoshone Indians. Whose were the home of present day Idaho. Around 1800 Hidatsa Indians were captured her in a raid on the Lemhi band`s camp, near the Missouri Toussaint Charbonneau. A French-Canadian fur trader, bought Sacajawea between 1800-1804.She now become or mythologized as Lewis and Clark`s 'guide' to the Pacific. In August 1805, she recognized landmarks that helped the party locate the Lemhi Shoshone and their horses. I chose her because she is one of the many other natives who were forced to slaves. However, she was lucky to be with a nice person who only used her as a guide and translator. Plus, she was a great contribute to know the landmarks, and help her party locate the Lemhi Shoshone and their horses. To end it all, her party convinced to all tribes to be all peace with each other. Clark even wrote Sacajawea`s role: " The Wife of Shabono our interpreter We find reconciles all the Indians, as to our friendly intentions. A women with a party of men is a token of peace." |
People Were In The West
Part 2
Guiding Question: I wonder what physical and political events happen in the west.
William Clark is another example of people of the west because he traveled with Meriwether Lewis, and soon Sacajawea will join them. The friendship between Clark and Lewis, it all started when they served together in 1795. Soon Clark accepted his invitation to be co-leader of the "Corps of Discovery" in 1803. After a few months of mapping, and studying astronomy, Clark joined Lewis as he traveled to the Ohio RIver, from Pittsburgh. They travled to Wood River, Illinois,at the confluence of the Missouri and Mississippi river. Soon they stayed with the Mandan, which they need to relay on the Indians for their success. Then they meet Sacajawea.

Ideals and Wars
Guiding Question: I wonder the differences between each war or revolution and which one meet America`s ideals.
There are three war or revolution, the American Revolution, The Mexican American War, and the American Civil War. The differences between each war or revolution isn there ideals. The American Revolution ideal is liberty because they had a chance to be free from the british. However, the Mexican American war ideal is opportunity. Its opportuiniy because with out this war, there would be no opportunity for a civil act to happen, which leads up to. The Civil War American ideals is Rights. Its right because the civilitation is defending them self, plus they want rights. To sum it all up, every war meet the American ideals by liberty, rights, and opportunity.

Trump Vs Hilary
When we chose the future president, we have to think about our country, people, and ideals. Lets first look at Trump. Trump made hurtful comments about our people "race". Trump wants to deport Mexicans, Muslims, African-Americans and other people. Have we thought that he wants to build a wall and make Mexico pay for it. This is the type of people we want for our country, people, and ideals?! Most people voted for him because they wanted oil from some land and claims that he doesn't believe global warming.
Now lets look at Hilary. Hilary supports every "race" and LGBTQ+ community. She will try to stop deportation. Hillary wants to make people united. Plus, she will be the first female president. Hillary will also help people without food. So, this is after the election, lets not panic and worried because we have each other and keep going. Lets have those hurtful comments from Trump to be a wake up call. Lets start a peaceful protest not a raid!

Trump Vs Andrew Jackson
Donald Trump and Andrew Jackson may have similarities yet they have differences. Lets start by Jackson. Jackson was know for "Old Hickory" because on how strong he was. Yet, he lived in a difficult childhood, with his brother dead by smallpox. When Jackson matured, he was a person with low education, but with a high respect on being a lawyer. When he entered the White House, he had a flame of revenged. He was cold hearted on the Native Indians. He supported an act to remove all Indians off the land. With Mexico it is a different story, he was just the seed of planting a war with them, because of a land that he wanted to buy, which was Texas.
Donald Trump is a different story. Trump was the fourth of five children of Frederick C. and Mary Macleod Trump. When growing up, as an adult, he married three times. He has a hate on Immigrates, Muslims, and other "race". He want to build a wall dividing the U.S from Mexico. Trump wants Mexico to pay for the process of building the wall. He also makes the number of people who need food stamps rise by 40%.
There will be similarities and difference between them both. Sometimes, both have a hate on a type of "race". Yet Jackson had good reason to make his action. Yet, Trump, just says things with out thinkings. Both of these people have people who LOVe them, while people HATE them.

U.S Conflicts
Abraham Lincoln is an example of "You vs Society". In this story talks bout how he goes against the South. Abraham was born in Hardin County, Kentucky. His mother died when he was nine but his stepmother told him to continue with his education. When Lincoln was in the House, he opposed the Mexican-American War and the extension of slavery. When Lincoln became president, a rebellion happen, disagreeing with his opinion about slavery. But he is setting a war to his own country so, thats when Frederick Douglas told him to let the African-Americans defeat the war. In mid-1862, Lincoln had decided the war of the North had to include the ending of slavery. Then he issued the Emancipation Proclamation. Which freed slaves from the South.
U.S Conflicts Pt.2
Economic Conflict
The South become independent with crash crops, mostly cotton,. While the North are doing manufacturing, agriculture, banking, and shipping with out the South. Changed in agriculture changes but mostly in the North. However, the South, agriculture keep the same but grew up to 80% of the population doing labor work. When war came in, both side had to change there economic ways. This impacted more to the South than the North. Both side had to force industries and other to put effort into the war. This was a problem because it was a dilemma.
An economic conflict is one of the biggest problems in this war. Mostly the South got there money from labor, which were slaves. But the war was meant to stop this for both side to be equal and every one put in there part. Yet, both had to fix there economic because they all have to put in to this war for it could happen.

What are the functions and responsibilities of a free press, and should ALL art be protected under the first amendment?
This picture shows how the free press is taken away by censorship. Which states that the news are hiding a secret to the public, by hiding false information. Although freedom of speech, petition assemble and religious freedom are still here, the government doesn`t want the public to know what their are doing. So, it connects that the responsibilities of the press is to show news about the government, around the world, or anything. All art should be protected because art is a way of using freedom of speech. Art is like words, and words are art. How? Well art shows, another way of words, something or a theme. While words could explain an arts meaning or theme.
